WILKERSON-- James Willard , 71, of Tulsa, passed away Thursday, October 2, 1997. Born in Tulsa in 1926. Army Veteran of WWII. He worked in the insurance field for over 50 years in various areas including Claims Adjusting, Marketing and General Agent. Owner and President of Interstate General Agency. He was past President for Claimsman Association. Active member at Garnett Church of Christ where he had served as an Elder. Survived by: wife, Juanita Houseberg Wilkerson; sister and brother-in-law, Barbara and Dewey Carr of Houston, TX; 7 children, James Jr. and his wife, B.J. Wilkerson of Denver, CO, Vicki L. Wilkerson of El Reno, OK, Connie K. Page of Tulsa, Susan M. Brown of Tulsa, Jackie D. and her husband, John Garland of Ponca City, OK, Julie F. and her husband, Scot Knight of Catoosa, OK, Jeffrey D. Wilkerson of Tulsa; 20 grandchildren, Jamie, Kim, Melissa, Jason, Amy, Laura, Ciara, Aaron, Cerissa, Kiersten, Jordan, Josh, Jesse, Jacob, Jillian, Jonah, Michael, Katie, Jayne and Amelia; 4 great-grandchildren, Jacob, Jamianne, Jared and Tanner. Service will be 2 p.m., Monday, October 6, 1997 at Garnett Church of Christ. Interment at Memorial Park Cemetery. Moore's Southlawn, 663-2233. (Tulsa World)
